Columbia 15316-D... Recorded on November 9, 1927. Racist comedy skit in the tradition of Amos & Andy and Moran & Mack. Fake black comedy hits a whole new level of weirdness when the preacher refers to Malinda as a "black Ethiopean vampire"!

Columbia 15316-D... Recorded on November 9, 1927. Green B. Adair is usually mis-labled as a country act due to the records being released as part of the Columbia 15000 country series. They're actually fairly racist comedy skits in the vein of Amos & Andy or Moran & Mack. Lucy Buys Insurance does have a great punchline though.

Vocalion 5020... Recorded on October 23, 1926. Not Really a song but facinating anyway. Al Hopkins narrates this novelty record while Charles Bowman makes the sound effects with his fiddle, immitating a train and a donkey rather well! Columbia 15332-D... Recorded on October 24, 1928. Not officially a Skillet Lickers record, this comedic skit was released with a cast list instead of a credited artist. This is probably due to the absence of Riley Puckett and the fact that none of the rest of the group play at the same time. Tanner plays a wild fiddle alone and sings all the musical parts himself. The rest of the group either speak or play background music.
